九九峰位於南投縣草屯鎮，又稱為「九九尖山」，據傳是由99座獨立山峰所組成，全境最高峰為海拔779.4米。由於遠望去像火焰而被稱為「火炎山」，與三義火炎山、六龜十八羅漢山並稱為「台灣三大火炎山地形」。景區設有九九峰森林步道，最高約485米，全長約2.5公里，途中可俯瞰霧峰、草屯及烏溪等景色，亦可以窺看九九峰自然保留區的特殊面貌。
99 Peaks is located in Caotun Township, Nantou Country, there are 99 individual peaks, the highest point is about 779.4m. There are forest trail and in which the highest point is 485m high, and the trail is 2.5km long. There are scenic view of the nature reserve of 99 peaks.
